Cutiepiemarzia’s Floral Subscription Box

This is Marzia’s Floral Box! I love the front design of the box I find the little creatures cute and I like the fact that Marzia drew them and added them into the floral design of the box. I hate that they just use the shipping box as the actual subscription box because there never as nice to just keep but then I get that it saves on packaging and using more resources.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream

I LOVE this product, it smells amazing it feels amazing on my skin! Im going to use it as my special moisturiser and not use it up all in one go just because it smells so good! It didn’t make my skin too oily which I suffer with, with moisturisers so that was a surprise! I would definitely look into buying the full size product of this one. Its supposed to offer over 24 hours of hydration and it definitely did, in the morning my skin wasn’t dried up or anything like that It was a really good product! Even if it wasn’t I would still buy it just to sit there and smell it to be honest so it being a great product is just a plus!

Yes to Calming Micellar Cleansing Water

This is a nice product, to me it doesn’t stand out as one of the best products from the box. It smells really nice! It does smell quite strong of cucumbers which is quite nice because it does feel like its cleansing and lasts a nice smell on the skin after. It is a cleanser, toner and moisturiser in one which is really good! To be it made my skin a little oily after wards which isn’t great but that happens often with products just because of my skin type. The pump dispenser is cool, sometimes it does go everywhere if you don’t cover the cotton pad completely over but it is quite a nice idea and it does dispense enough to do your whole face and neck!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

I really love this product! Ive already looked into buying the full size! It feels so smooth on the skin, it doesn’t make my skin oily which is a massive plus for me, makeup goes on so easy and smooth it literally makes makeup going on the skin feel like a cloud. It make my makeup stay all day and it didn’t budge! It is close to the benefit cosmetics pore one but I like this one a lot more, I would choose this one over it any day just by how easy it make applying my makeup!

 DERMA E Microdermabrasion Scrub

This product is really good for acne! I found that I’ve been under a lot of stress lately so my skin has been a nightmare! This has helped a lot, it helped the spots that I did have come up so go away which was amazing because it was awful! You can only use this twice a week which is quite annoying as I would use it all the time but its because of how hard of a scrub it is. It helped a lot with my dry skin as well, it didn’t completely get rid of it but it helped, My acne scars seem to be a little less obvious, still there but not as clear and dark which is amazing . I looked online and the price for full size isn’t too bad, It is quite expensive but it would be worth the money.

Custom Marzia WinkyLux Eyeshadow

I love the fact that they gave out micro eyeshadows from Marzias new collab, Thats always the plus with having marzias box because you always get something from if she collars with a company. I love the packaging of this product, I wish the actual eyeshadow packaging was that same as the outside package but sadly its just a white but it means that I’ve kept the out packaging because its too cute to throw out. This is a very orange eyeshadow! I didn’t think I would be able to wear it just because I’m more of a pale colour eyeshadow but when you blend this one out, you can see that its orange but its a very subtle one because I hardly used any product just because I didn’t want a bright orange eye if not if you put a lot on you would have a very bright orange eye. It blends out really well and is a really nice formula. I would love to see the big palette and I might look into getting it!

Surprise Product from Kate Aspen

These are the salt and pepper shakers from the Kate aspen collection. There was the chance of these and a photo frame. I really like these I find these really cute and very nice decor, I think I would of preferred the photo frame just because the pattern on the box of this one was the print of the photo frame so that would of been cute but I do still like these. They are very small so you would have to refill them every time which would be a pain but there worth the effort just by how cute they are!

Kenra Professional Platinum Blow Dry Spray

This is one of my favourites from the box, it makes my hair feel so soft and silky and it also helps with the knots that I’m struggling with at the moment. Even if my hair is super knotty I just put this on my wet hair and put a brush through it and its completely fine! It also helps with flyaway during the day, it never seems to be frizzy after drying and helps to keep to style in longer. I will be buying this after this bottle runs out because it helps a lot with struggling to brush my hair!

Forest Creatures Sewing Kit

Mini sewing kits are always handy! This one literally has everything even buttons and a safety clip. My only issue was as soon as I opened it , it broke so every time I open it, it breaks open and I have to struggle to close it so I don’t think it was very expensive for them to make. other than that I do really like this product and the idea of it. Its also a very good mini sewing kit as it has EVERYTHING! I love Marzias little forest creatures designs there really cute!

White Wire Headband

This is a really cute add on to the box! Im not sure wether I would ever use it just because my head doesn’t suit things at all. Its a good quality product, not a lot was thought of it I don’t think but it is really cute and does fill in the box really well.

Overall I liked this box, this was a lot better than the last one but there was the same issue as I had last time as that there isn’t a lot of personally thought out things and just products, it must be the plan that she has because its always 2 things that is personally made for the box. This boxes products were better than the last one, I’m more likely to use these products and have actually given me more ideas of what products. Hopefully next box she will have more self thought products in!

Birchbox : May 2017

It’s May already! So its already time for my review of this months Birchbox. I loved the design on the box this month, I’m keeping it the same as I did last month ( I just hope this doesn’t become a reacurence )

Benefit Cosmetics : The POREfessional Matte Rescue|RRP £23.50

Iv’e always been a fan of benefit products they’ve always worked out for me like the mascaras and tints. This one has always been a go to for me as I’ve used this before, It is very pricy but I would pay full price (I’ve only ever been able to afford the small tubes) It always works well on my acne prone skin, it helps my skin to look less oily for much longer than normal products. The size of this product is really great, its good for traveling but its larger than there normal small size products. This was a really good product to come from Birchbox!

Doucce : Punk Volumizer Mascara | RRP £18

This is my first time trying a product from this brand. Apparently it was a birch box exclusive! Im quite fussy with mascaras because Im not a fan of ones that clump your eyelashes together, so its quite difficult to find one that doesn’t do that as everyone seems to like that type of eyelash at the moment. This one was great! I didn’t put an eyelash primer on underneath and it worked really well! I would consider buying the full product but it is the same price as Clinique and I would prefer the Clinique one but this one is still great on its own. I wouldn’t say it didn’t give my lashes more volume but it didn’t clump my eyelashes so that was all that mattered for me so if your someone looking for one that can help with that maybe this one isn’t for you.

Kueshi : Hair Mask Shine & Volume | RRP £10.50

This was a decent product. Lets just say I wouldn’t buy it, it made my hair too volumised for my liking, some people would like a product like that so if you like your hair to have volume this product does work. Its just not for me as I don’t like having volume to my already thick frizzy hair! I felt like it also made my hair very knotty which for a conditioner should do the opposite but that might be because of the dye build up on the bottom of my hair not suiting this product as normally my hair isn’t knotty so it might just not work well with this product. I personally wouldn’t buy the full size product of this but if your looking for very volumised hair then this is the product for you!

Marsk : Mineral Eyeshadow in Fifty Shades | RRP £14.49

To be honest, I really don’t like the colour, but that is completely on me because I hate black eyeshadows, I find it hard to find an eyeshadow I like as it is and a black one to be is just completely off the ball! To be honest I haven’t tried this product just because I can’t ever wear black eyeshadow, I tried it on the back of my hand and it applied really well but other than that I can’t give an honest review of it. Only that I don’t understand why birch box didn’t let everyone choose which colour everyone would like because the difference between black and the light white colour they had is completely different and I would of used the whiter one but this one I can’t use which is a shame.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics : Lip Tar Primer | RRP £15.00

I like this product. I feel like its worth buying instead of lip balms because it kept my lips very hydrated throughout the day and I didn’t feel the need to apply lip balm which obviously saves time throughout the day and saves product as I didn’t have to use it multiple times. I didn’t try it under lipstick because I’m not much of a fan but as it says on the product you can just use it as a lip balm so thats what I’m going to use it for. I would possibly by this product again it is very expensive for the size of It but I imagine it would be bigger for the price as they give testers so I would possibly see what size the full size is.

I liked this box, its not amazing but its been better than the others, I just wished they had asked which colour you wanted for the eyeshadow then it would of been my favourite! I loved the box design thats definitely my fave because Im a massive fan of marble! Ive kept this one as well as the Boden one because they are very good to keep little odd things in and the designs are really nice!

Makeup Remover Cloths!

Now I know you’ve probably heard about the makeup eraser! Who’s hasn’t! Well while I was shopping I found these at B&M bargains for a whopping bargain for £1.99! Ive been trying to find a cheap alternate for the makeup eraser for a long time because I liked the thought of them, I think there great for saving on waste because your not having to throw out makeup wipes and all that which I hate doing! These you literally have to just wash and there ready to use again! I really like these! I have used them and washed them again to see if they still worked after washing them, and yes they did!

How long they will last for, I don’t know but then thats the same for everything even if it saves me from using up a pack of wipes and throwing them out I’m happy! For the price they are its a bargain. There quite soft on your face which is nice, they say they have a exfoliant side but I’m not sure which one it is as when you wet them they just seem the same, you can tell when there dry but not when there wet.

My only issue with these is literally that you have to wash them if not you have no means of getting your makeup off at night, but if you get enough to last the week that won’t be a problem as I am going to get some more soon so that won’t be an issue then. It does take maybe a little longer than it does a wipe but I normally get a stinging on my eyes and face which I didn’t get with these because its literally just water,  So this is definitely a good cheap alternative and I would recommend!

Birchbox : April 2017

This is Aprils Birchbox! I failed to upload last months as a lot was going on but I’m back to my normal routine!

This is the ‘Luseta Beauty Keratin Smooth Conditioner’ and it retails for £5. I was bit confused as to wether this product would work with it not having a shampoo companion but I figured I would just try it with my normal conditioner and It was really great. The smell of the product is really nice, it doesn’t really leave a lasting smell on your hair though which is a bummer. It did smooth out my hair really well, Ive gone through troubles with flyaway with my hair lately and this product really helped! For the price of the full size product I would definitely buy because It’s quite cheap and It was a product that would really well for me!

This is the ‘Polaar IcePure gentle scrub with arctic cream’ and the full size product retails for £23.50. This product doesn’t smell nice, well I’m not a fan, It doesn’t leave a lasting smell on the skin though so its fine. I liked this product, I don’t feel like it was amazing as it goes for in shower scrubs but as I’m a fan of the lush scrub this doesn’t even compare. Its not a heavy scrub so I don’t feel like it really does anything. It does leave the skin more moisturised but other than just putting on a moisturiser its not a product I would buy out for.

This is the ‘Manna Kadar Cosmetics High Definition Powder’ and it retails for £27. This was the special product that everyone could choose there type that they would like and I chose the high definition powder because it sounded like something I would use more than the other choice. I was angry about this product it sounds stupid but being told that something the size of your pinky is a full size product can make you a little annoyed. I couldn’t even fit my brush into the powder its that small. It doesn’t even really do anything either, it doesn’t make my skin look any better or any worse. I 100% wouldn’t buy it as its such a stupid size. It’s a product I will probably end up just throwing out.

This is the ‘Baija Paris Creme Moana In Fleur De Tiare’ and it retails for £15.90. This product is a French based company as you can tell by the name. This was my Favourite product this month, I LOVE IT! The smell from this lotion is amazing! I got a little bit on the bottle on the outside as I was using it and because I put it back into the box my whole birch box smells so nice! It rubs in so quick and doesn’t leave a horrible sticky feeling which is one reason why I hate body lotion. The smell lasts a hell of a long time as well which makes It even better as its basically a perfume at the same time. I will definitely be buying this product!

This is the ‘ModelCo Eye Define Crayon Liner’ and it retails for £11 which for a eyeliner can be seen as expensive. Its a good Eyeliner, just nothing special, it does the same as what the others do which is smudge on the bottom eyeliner when thats not were you want it to be which is one thing I was hoping wouldn’t happen with this one. I would rather just buy a cheaper one that does the same really!

This months birch box looked so pretty! I loved the box pattern so much! The products were decent it was just the powder that was very bad and thats just because of it being ‘full size’ I’ve seen a lot of complaints online about its towards birch box so hopefully they would sell another tiny product with it being full size! Other than that it was a really good box!

Beauty Formulas Glorious Mud Facial Mask Review

This is my review of the Beauty Formulas Glorious Mud Facial Mask!

For this blog I want to try out cheaper brand products to see if there uptown standard for me. As I’m learning to save and be more careful with my money I’ve had to change my £75 face wash routine down to a £5 and its not actually that much different so I’m trying out different face masks to see if they will work just as well.

This one retails for £1 which is super super cheap! I found this one in Savers , I’m not 100% sure wether its sold else where but savers is where I found this for £1. It comes in such a good bottle because its easy to reseal and use over again which is what I like in a face mask. I like ones that last longer than one use because then when you find a good one it will last longer! Im not sure how many uses you could possibly get out of this one but I imagine its more than 5 as you don’t need to use too much.

I suffer with really bad acne prone skin so products are come and go with me. Before I used this product I had so many painfully inflamed spots! After I used this product my spots had practically almost gone which is crazy because that never happens when I use face products! For a simple £1 face product it was amazing! The smell wasn’t too bad not a special smell but just a little tinge to it which is good because when face products smell strong It makes me a little scared because I feel like there a lot of products in it, I know thats probably not the case and its all in my head but thats how my head has it!

I just have to say I will be stocking up on this product! For £1 for something that gets rid of spots basically instantly you can’t go wrong, so make sure you go and check this product out its really worth the £1!

Birchbox Subscription Box February 2017

Birchbox is a monthly subscription box service that provides you with 5 different sample products! It retails for £12.50 to the UK. There’s also a full site online that you can buy the full size products. You have to fill out a questionnaire which sets you to which products they will send you depending on what you like and use, for example if you suffer with oily skin they wont send you anything that you wouldn’t be able to use! Which is great because then all 5 products is something you would actually use.

This Is Birchbox’s February edition!

For Subscribing In February I got a free ‘ Smith & Cult , The shining Lip Lacquer ‘ which Is a very expensive free product as I looked It up and Its $24! It’s a lip gloss which I’m personally not a fan off, sometimes I can use them but this one seems very sticky so I don’t think I will be using this a lot but the colour Is so nice so I will be looking for this colour but in a matt lipstick instead.

This Is the ‘Spectrum Marbleous c06 Tulip Eye Contour Brush’ which retails for £5.99. Its a really nice brush, its not too soft but its soft enough so its really great on your eyes. I like the nice simple white handle as well with the slight rose gold top. The brush is very good for putting eye shadow on the bottom of your lash line as well which i always struggled to get that thin line on the bottom from using the wrong brushes. Its very good for shading with different colours as well by the different angles of the brush. I’m definitely looking into buying the other brushes in the collection.

This is the ‘Pop Beauty eye shadow trio’ and it retails for £15.50 for the larger pallet that includes this colour .The colours are so nice all together! I’m not sure whether it was the brush i was using but it seemed as though you had to swatch it a few times before it came off on the brush but that’s the only negative about it. Its quite long lasting without a eye primer and they blend so well together. Its really small and compact so its easy to fit in depending on if your travelling or just a small piece in your makeup collection. Its good to use for everyday or on a night out. I would be interested to see more of there three piece or larger sets.

This is the ‘ Daily moisture Conditioning Spray ‘ and it retails for £11.50 for a larger bottle as they send a sample size .  Its to help with frizz and knots in hair. Its such a nice smell product and that would be the only reason i would use it. It did help with knots and frizz but i found that my hair went very stiff like and it seemed greasy. By the end of the day my hair felt so knotty and horrible i wanted to wash it again. The smell of this product is the best thing but then it doesn’t stay after you dry your hair so it doesn’t last long. I also find that my curls didn’t stay in my hair as long because of how knotty my hair turned out. I wouldn’t buy this product on its own because to my hair it doesn’t suit.

This is the ‘ Huile Podigieuse oil’ and it retails for £17.00 for 50ml which this one is smaller but its also a sample size.  I’ve only used this on my hair as my face has a very oily completion and my body skin is quite sensitive but i always use oil on my hair. I found this was very nice and the smell of the product is so nice! I could sit here and smell the bottle all day. It helps to smooth out frizz a lot. But like the moisturising spray the smell doesn’t stay for long which is just annoying because its such a nice smell. The dispensing of the product isn’t too great just because it doesn’t have a pump which is always easier when it comes to oil. I would recommend using this product if you suffer with crazy frizzy hair like me and it has a multi use product with being able to use it on your hair, body and face!

This is the ‘ Keeome Hydration Therapy Mask ‘ and it retails for £29.00 for a pack of size, but this is just a sample size. I found that this face mask was really refreshing. I’m not a fan of sheet masks as I feel there stronger on my sensitive skin but this one was quite gentle. I think there very expensive for what they are as i feel like there the same as any other mask, even though these are more gentle on my skin. I also didn’t get much sleep this week so I feel like it really helped with giving my skin more energy! I’m not sure whether I would buy them separately maybe to have as a treat every now and then but they are over my price range to use weekly. Overall I think there a very nice product and would also be a nice treat present for someone.

Overall I really love Birchbox! This was my first Birchbox as I wanted another subscription box to review for this blog and I really wish I had ordered it before! Its really nice sized products to just try different things so if you don’t like a product you don’t have a full product bottle to use up. The Birchbox site is so easy to use as any of the products that are in the box are on the website to buy. The way the Box is presented is so nice as well, the trouble is, is that as a hoarder of nice looking things I dont want to get rid of the box!

Marzia Snow Box Review

This Is my review on Marzia’s Subscription box!

This quarterly box was snow themed! I wish this had come out before Christmas though with It being snow themed. It came with 8 products! I payed £33.27 for the box and that was including postage, that’s what makes it cost so much. They say the box comes with £152.41 worth of products.

These two were the only original pieces that Marzia put into the box. The Snow flake is a bookmark which Is really cute. Its make of metal which makes it long lasting. It also comes In a box so you can give it as a gift if you wished. The moon patch is from marzia’s new collection and I think its really cute. I don’t really have anything to put iron on patches on though so I’m going to have to find something. I think these were really two cute pieces to put into the box.

This is the ‘Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner’ this values for $55. In Marzias YouTube video she showed the full size product where as this is the smaller travel size version so that’s how i think it retails for $55 because that’s how much the larger bottle costs. I like this product, I’m not sure whether it’s worth the price of it though, i suffer with really bad oily skin and this has helped and with my acne but I wouldn’t say it did more than a cheaper banded product.

This is the ‘BIOEFFECT EGF Serum’ and it retails for $50. I looked on the website and they don’t sell a small tester size like this or the bag that it comes in. The larger bottles retail for about $100. Unless this did crazy things for my skin I would not pay that for a product. I like the bag that it come with, I’m guessing that was special for marzias box but I’m not sure on that. I’ve used this product a few times and it does make my skin soft. It worries me because I feel like it will make my skin more oily just because of the texture, but it is a nice product to use just not at $100 value.

This Is the ‘Blinc White Eyeliner Pencil’ and It values for $22. I’m not a big fan of the white eyeliner trend so I wasn’t sure on this product. I have used It and would possibly use it again. I find it does make my eyes look brighter which Is good because my eyes always look small and tired. I like the little case it comes in as well, I’m not sure whether your supposed to keep it or throw it out as its packaging but I’ve kept it as its a cute little case. I will be using this product again when I feel the need too.

This Is the ‘Kokie Cosmetics Sheer Lipstick In Cafe Au Lait’ It retails for $6.I don’t use lipsticks very much as I don’t think they suit me very well. I don’t know whether It’s my skin colour or just that I don’t like them. The way this lipstick applies Is so smooth. It’s almost too smooth to apply because when I applied It I didn’t expect It to be so smooth so made a mess. The colour Is very nice and could be used In the winter or the summer. I would also look into other colour of lipsticks as I feel it wouldn’t be too drying through out the day. I haven’t worn it for a whole day just because I don’t like the way that I look with lipstick so it hasn’t really done a whole day test but I feel this is genuinely a nice product to use.

This Is the ‘ Frank Body Body Scrub’ It retails for $7. I really love this product. The smell from It so so strong! The smell Is like coffee because Its the cocao one, I literally walked out of the shower smelling like a cup of coffee, which is obviously amazing if your a coffee drinker.  This was definitely my favourite product from the box just because of the smell. My skin was left feeling so soft as well so overall I think this was a lovely product and I would definitely purchase more of the Frank Body products!

This is the ‘Ice water eyes by ToGoSpa’ and It retails for $35. I looked on the site and it came up that they were only $12 and they only sell it in this small pack so I’m not sure if it was a typo or something but on the slip they come with it was the wrong price. I tried these after putting them in the fridge which you don’t have to but its a suggestion on the packet. They were really refreshing on my eyes, I don’t ever get much sleep just because I just wake up quite a lot. It has made my eyes feel so fresh and like I’ve just had about 20 hours sleep. There a little annoying on the eyes just by the way they position but they do stick without falling off. You can take them on the go even if you don’t put them in a fridge you can use them which is great if your on a plane or just travelling! I feel like they should do them in a bigger back but maybe there just a luxury item that your not supposed to use too much. I really enjoyed this product and after looking into it further they do different ones for the body as well so I cant wait to try those out! I would definitely purchase this on its own.

Overall I think this was a really good box for products. My only bad feeling about this box Is that I found In the beginning It was more products that Marzia had input into like with the first few box she would have products like the perfume with her logo on and like the umbrella with the logo on. I feel like you don’t get that anymore with the boxes and its more just products and brand deals, which isn’t why I got the box in the first place. I got it because I liked Marzias input on little things.  I do really love Marzias boxes I just wish she would do more unique stuff that you cant just buy from a shop. I think the VIM boxes get more of the unique stuff but then It’s still just a lot of products. This was one of the best boxes for expensive products though which is always a good thing. Hopefully the next box will offer more unique things from Marzia.

Christmas Lush Products

Christmas Lush Products come around ones a year and  as I’m sure all lush enthusiasts love this time of year!

From Bubble bars to Bath bombs theirs something that everyone would love!

I’m going to be reviewing my experience with Christmas and lush and the bath bombs and bubble bars I got my hands on.

First off, I ordered from offline. This experience wasn’t too great as when they all arrived they were broke. That didn’t make me too happy as we all know the prices of lush products. When I come to see if i could return it, it turns out you have to pay to send them back. Which I didn’t really want too as I didn’t want to spend out money on replacing something that could come back exactly the same. I know that the way they do there packaging is to save on packaging which I think is a great thing about lush but then when products come damaged It’s a bit of a turn away. This is the only slight negative experience I’ve ever had from lush though.

Now to the reviewing!

The Red Slippers Bubble Bar is one of my favourites! Its a really nice Christmas ruby red. It makes the bath so glittery it’s one of the best I find as it feels magical. There was a generous amount of bubbles as well! I would definitely re purchase this one next year.

The Father Christmas Bath Bomb is a nice one but I find that its main feature is when you see it first. The detail is so good and i find its the one that would obviously look the best for Christmas time. I was more expecting the water to go red but it did go green which was a nice surprise, it didn’t have any sparkles in it though which would of been a nice touch.

The Luxury Lush Pud Is a very nice bath bomb. Pink wouldn’t of been what I would of chose for a Christmas bath bomb though, Just because after the ‘pudding’ is gone its not a very good Christmas colour, but its very glittery which makes up for it. The design was very nice though and when it was dissolving in the water it was so pretty!

The Christmas Penguin was ok . It was a very nice blue colour which was great for the penguin theme of it. The little penguin was very cute as well but it was sad when you had to crumble him! There wasn’t too many bubbles though which was a disappointment but it made me skin very soft and the smell was great!

I love Lush all year around but when special times come out there even better! There some of the best unique products as there all handmade! There care for animals and the environment is one of the main reasons why I support and buy there products!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my review and maybe encourage you to try them out next Christmas time or just lush in general!

Lots of Love
